finally.. the air tickets and hotel is booked! we spend so so so so much time and effort in trying to book the Perfect hotel room at the perfect location. Banthai Beach Resort and Spa is located at the middle of Phuket Patong beach. 5mins walk to the beach and 10mins walk to nightlife. its the only few 4* hotel around that area.. and because local agency dont carry their deluxe pool access room we have to find other means to book the room. i called 8 local agency and they cannot get me the room. so we made a call to thailand and request for a room. they told ahan they is only one room left. i was so so so disappointed because i did so many research (reading 87comments, forums, hotel website, map of phuket,patong) before i could find a decent one and they only have 1 room instead of 2? i was so tempted to book the USD$**** villa. wft... so i went online and search, all my internet resource said the hotel have 2 rooms left. so we heck and went ahead to book online.
after booking online i called the hotel in phuket, they finally confirm with me that there's actually two rooms left. thank god!~~ so i made a few other request and changes to the booking. its not cheap the rooms.. the next best category after the deluxe pool room will be the suites..so lol.. the price is quite crazy. oh well the damage is already done! I really really really really hope the room turn out to be as expected.
my next step will be to book the Phi Phi island speedboat + snokeling tour + email the spa ppl to arrange for transport. i have already written down the places we can go and explore. i actually want to spend some dinner time at a restaurant on top of a hill on Phi Phi Island, it overlooks the North-China sea.. you get to see one of the most beautiful sunset there but time dont allow. haha so its ok! so so so EGGCITED. 3 huge ass pools, pool bar, seafood, STARBUCKS and watsons near the hotel lobby! sweet. i hope it will turn out fun!
