sense of belonging

i feel much better after a good meal

i feel that sometimes people just tend to take things for granted. i was pretty disappointed to see that what i've done specially on newyear's eve going to the trash bin. it's alot about me wanting to put in effort and just simply be a part if IT. so..i specially went back to sch on ny eve's morning and skip spending time with my girls and aloy JUST to play a part... and i did it all by myself. god knows why the hell teachers want to keep changing it. i've heard mgs being passed down to me to change that trash close to 5times in a year. if that is going to keep changing then honestly i wont do it. what's the point? of me keep putting up things and other people keep tearing down things just to so-call "update it". i've planned things for basically every single aspect of it, i consulted different people and they said "ok" but now... they decided it's not ok. i'm pretty speechless at how they involve me. i'm not sure if they have any intentions of letting me know if i didnt ask.

undoubtly, yes i'm unhappy. not with people but with how things are being managed. if teachers say this this this, do you always have to listen?

i feel that there's a need to just stop for a moment, think and give feedbacks before saying the simple "yes". think about the person who did it. atleast ask me, if not inform me or even just TELL ME that you have to this and that. or even atleast involve me.

now you know why i dont feel a sense of belonging. it's not that i dont want, i tried to play a part, but sometimes things just dont work out like it should have. now you know why i prefer to go for some boring bio cloning lecture than that.

mum came to fetch me at 7.30. we went to eat buffet at shangri-lila hotel's the line... my favourite place. nice ambence, nice food, nice service. i was in sch uniform and it felt weird.. i was talking to mum about teachers, school, friends. stocks and my studies. i called to book a table while i was in the car.. they said "sorry miss but we can only give you a table at 9 pm"
me: "oh really? i'm actually on the way there now, could you do me a favour by giving me a table first if there happens to be empty?"
the guy "sure, i'll put you on piority list"
reason? my mom knows the manager. =)
got there at 8.. waited till 8.15.... i was telling the guy how i dont mind a poolside table.. and being nice and polite.
me "actually can you just give me an empty table for my mum to rest? i dont want her to stand for too long"
him "oh!! sure sure no problem, this way pls and i'm so sorry about the tables."
after 10secs... some...uncle came and brought us to the table.. see...i'm good at this.

i head STRAIGHT to the indian cusine.. was talking to the chef told him how much i love this curry baked prawns, fish and how everytime i just go there for indian food.. he was so happy.. that he actually made some fish for me..=) and it was served to my table. i'm so happy. i love indian food.. so much herbs and spice. ate salmon sashimi, italian baked ......, roasted beef, mango salad, cabonara, lobster, crabs and a lot of ultra fresh food. i love the sashimi. best! mum loves the oyster. we were then talking about my bro and a gal.. ha!!
compare shangrilila to marina mandrein, shang is 1000times better. i still rmb a couple of weeks ago at mandrine, there was no desert fork, no soup spoon, no ppl to serve us coffee/icewater, no chopsticks for jap, lack of food (excuse me? for a buffet?) and i had to Q for 20mins just to get some grilled prawns. worst of all..the food's not fantastic at all..
me and my mother was sitting near the pool side eat and talk and drink till about 10plus. so cooling and nice air. i simply love the desert section.. one whole full tall counter of miniature desert with cakes. a huge fondue, many diff flavours of icecream, fresh crepes made, candyfloss, gummies, fresh tropical fruits. everything seems to be so fresh, you want it, they make it on the spot for you. mum was telling me that she lost (5 zeros) in stocks.. haaa so she said "i wont bring you to eat such expensive food till i win back my stocks" which she estimates it's going to take about 1yr. =(....i was complaining that she took my dad and eat buffet there, always pangseh me, so she brought me there today.

we got free parking!! haa gian the parking.. normally parking fees is 7and above but becoz today they brought us to the shang's apartments to park. see..ladies enjoy so much better service. the whole place was infested with couples and angmohs. i was the only "kid" there but i do feel more relax after such a...... tiring day
